We did it!

We completed the lap-a-thon!  Thank you so very much to all the families who supported us in raising money, cheer leading and lap keeping.  We are so thankful.  Come and visit again soon to see our grand total of money raised.

Mr. Taufa the Artist!

Wow, it has been an exciting day!  Today the incredible artist Mr. Taufa visited our school.  He taught us how to paint a landscape and we were so successful.  He also spent time with the Room 4 students and showed them some of his drawings.  We are so glad he came to visit us, we feel so very special!

We need your help for the lap-a-thon!

The Junior school lap-a-thon is going to happen really soon - Tuesday 6th December from 2:00 - 2:45pm.  We are raising money to get a brand new sand pit and we are very excited!  We are each getting sponsors who will commit to paying a certain amount of money for each lap we run around the oval.  When we have run around the oval we will calculate how much money we need to collect from each sponsor.  The money that we collect will go towards buying our new sand pit.  If we get lots of sponsors we can get our sand pit sooner!

WE NEED YOU TO HELP US GET AT LEAST 5 SPONSORS EACH!

We know that running will be a big challenge for us, so we have been training our hearts everyday during fitness time.

 

We can't wait to run, run, run in the lap-a-thon!

TM's Creative Writing

Today TM used his creativity to write a story about a funny picture that we looked at.  The picture is a little weird and a little funny.  Please enjoy reading TM's writing and let him know what he has done well by leaving a comment.

Once upon a time there was a long line to go to the toilet.  But the line was too long.  So they waited and waited.  But then two people came out so two more went into the toilet.  But then the people at the back got angry because the lines was too long so they left.

Hi Parents and friends!

Thank you so very much for taking the time to visit our humble blog.  An even bigger thank you goes out to those adults who have made a comment on our blog.  This support and interest from you at home is making big differences to learning here at school.  Motivation is high as students realise that their learning is being shared and viewed by EVERYBODY important to them.  I encourage you to answer CG's and AD's video question that asked you to share why YOU like learning.  Together let us show our children how important learning is.  

Please pray for our blog.  We are already being visited by communities in at least 3 different continents.  WOW!  God is good and and His reach is unstoppable.  We are his vessel and we know that we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.
